Caught in the crossfire, it ceased life as I know it.
Her cell phone I was to use was sitting on the counter next to a check she had written me just that morning...
Its funny how quickly things in life change.
And how fast things you unknowingly take for granted can be taken away.
Lesson learned: Try not to take people, situations, and life for granted, or you will be left with an overwhelming feeling of loss.
